YA for McCain

America's Youth for America's Next President: John McCain

At work yesterday, the faux pas topic of politics came up. Most people figured that the whole table was pro-Obama, and began bashing McCain/Palin. So I stood up for what I believe in, and a small political debate broke out.

I was shocked and dis-heartened from what I heard. I asked people at the table why they think Obama would make a great President. I was told how great of a person Obama is. When I asked about his policies, not a single person at the table could tell me ONE SINGLE POLICY Obama is running for. When I asked what Obama has done, they said he was a senator. When I asked, what he has ever done as a senator, no one could answer one thing.

These people were extremely pro-Obama, but could not say one thing he has done, or is promising to do. I do work in New York, so I should expect Pro-Obamanism. It is terrifying that these people are voting and do not any idea what they are voting for. Most of the people were younger (23-25), but still it's pretty scary that many people are voting without any knowledge.
